There are few shows more iconic and universally watched than FRIENDS. With the love-able characters and stellar 90s fashion, what's not to like? There are plenty of looks to gain inspiration from (and maybe a few to avoid), but one style I'm particularly fond of this season is the mini skirt and tights combination often seen on Jennifer Aniston's character Rachel. The mini-skirt provides a wardrobe refresh and lends a feminine feel to your chunky knits and turtlenecks. While putting together these 30 fishtail braids, I realized that I don't rock the style enough. I currently have a bob, so I was happy to see some shorter styles incorporating the braid. Love that it can work with any hair length. Definitely inspired to do it more often.

MESSY PONYTAILS

Smitten with these two messy ponytails. Great inspiration for me since my hair has been getting pretty long and I don't like to spend too much time on it. Then again, knowing me, I'll probably spend an hour trying to get that piecey look and top bump just right. Don't know if you noticed, but the second shot is of Jennifer Aniston- she always has amazing highlights/color.
