There's something about a comfortable, but cute, ensemble you just can't beat. While on lockdown (and on my own personal social distancing rules) I've been making it a point to get dressed every day, even just to walk the dog. My favorite go-to look as of late; the ribbed tank and baggy sweat shorts, both '90s-inspired. Wear yours with a pair of chunky white dad sneakers to get the full look.
Debora Rosa knows how to turn heads; even though her aesthetic is minimal, she picks pieces that catch your eye, and feature luxe silhouettes. This week, she posted an outfit that I can't seem to get out of my head. I know for sure that when lockdown ends, i'll be sporting this look on my first big day truly out with friends. Pair your favorite black midi skirt with a wrap-front white blouse, preferably one that shows some skin. Add cool-girl accessories and kitten heel sandals, and you're good to go.
My little sister is an aspiring singer. She is currently working on an album
and also does covers of popular songs for her YouTube channel.
She just completed her own cover of Kanye West's new song "Love Lockdown". She remade his beat in her studio and recorded vocals to it. I would absolutely LOVE + ADORE if my viewers gave her a little support and checked out the video she made for her cover of the song. It was inspired by Beyonce's "Flaws and All" :)
Thanks guys! When her original music comes out I will let you all know!

Cozy meets chic with Annemiek's latest outfit. The Instagrammer is the queen of faceless, effortless ensembles that exist in neutral territory, and we're obsessed. For a sleek and comfortable look to wear during lockdown weekends, opt for a vintage-inspired sweatshirt, baggy white denim, and dad sneakers.

I never thought I'd say this but: regular handbags can be really annoying. Enter, belt bags. Between walking my quick-moving Yorkie throughout Brooklyn, or trying to wrangle myself together at the check out line, a bag with a top-handle or thin straps that continuously slide off my shoulder grinds my gears faster than I thought it would. During the lockdown, I've become a little more utilitarian — shifting my wardrobe and filling it with things that are both easy to use and fashion-forward, and that's how I came across the belt bag again. This once-ugly trend has been a lifesaver; allowing hands-free movement, jogs, walks and farmer's market runs without the hassle. Ahead, shop the belt bags that I have my eyes on.
Now that we've been on lockdown for, what, five months? Clothes have become more comfortable as we've settled into the "new normal" of now. What's the fun in wearing jeans while sitting cross-legged on the sofa? With that being said, basics are trending in all its glorious, cozy forms. From simple tanks and sweats to ribbed socks and basketball shorts, these are the 25 basics we're collecting while indoors.
Photo via: Style Du MondeInspirational outfits that are both easy to recreate and incredibly chic are hard to come by, especially as we've been in lockdown. Now more than ever, we're craving normalcy and getting dressed—truly dressed. Remember putting on a great work outfit? Same. For inspiration, we're looking to Libby Page during NYFW. She sported a double-breasted blazer, with a chunky neutral-colored turtleneck sweater, stirrup leggings, and mule pumps. We think white sneakers would look just as good.
Remember when we thought the lockdown would end and we'd all be back to our normal lives by July? Funny, huh?
