Majorly crushing on Elizabeth Monson's blog- MOVE SLIGHTLY ♥
She creates amazing runway-inspired nail designs. Dying to try the Charlotte Olympia kitty nails! Also, super pumped for her new 'Polished' nail segment on LookTV- can't wait to see more!
We're always intrigued and in awe of Victoria Beckhams' looks; on and off the runway. Ahead of her show earlier this month, she was spotted in Manhattan in the tailored coat of our dreams. Her camel top coat, fitted black turtleneck, and ultra-wide-leg pants took cues from traditional menswear while remaining feminine and demure.
After Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton and Lanvin featured vinyl statement pieces on the runway, they were bound to become a mainstay for edgy fashion girls everywhere. The key to cracking the vinyl code and making it work off the runway? Pick a statement piece and pair it with low-key pieces. The forever stylish Vanessa Hong wore her vinyl pants with a simple striped long sleeved t-shirt, black pumps, and cat-eye sunglasses.
We already know that animal print is killing it on the runway, but the trend isn't exclusive to just cheetah print and leopard. Looking back at Fashion Week's from the past year, it's evident that one print, in particular, is blowing up on and off the runway. Enter: snakeskin. This gender-neutral, edgy, garish motif is an easily eye-catching print that transforms even the simplest of outfits. During Milan Fashion Week, Erika Boldrin wore it perfectly in a pair of straight leg pants.
We love to look at street style for inspiration because unlike runway trends, these looks are personal and unique. This model stepped out to take a photo looking like a literal ray of sunshine in a white, long-sleeved crop top, bright yellow midi skirt and a pair of chic black sandals. We will be sure to try out this look before the seasons end.
Models have always given major looks on and off the runway but the new-age supermodels have been perfecting their street style ensembles. Kendall Jenner stepped out in New York wearing an ornate longline blazer, edgy leather shorts, and pointed-toe ankle boots. We want all of it.
During Paris Fashion Week, some of our favorite looks move past editor's and adorn the models walking to-and-from runway shows. Adut Akech Bior is long-since celebrated for her catwalk strut, but we love her street style, too. Play with the season's favorited head-to-toe ribbed trend with a cashmere tank and midi skirt set. Add a longline coat and sculptural leather mules to complete the look.
Gigi Hadid makes makes jet lag look runway-ready. Instead of sleeping in and opting for sweatpants and sneakers, she paired her Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots with slightly distressed dark-wash jeans and a fringe trim cowl neck sweater. With an airport outfit this chic, she's prepared to be spotted without the shame.
We know, we know; every season there's another denim option that's in and one that's kicked out. As summer comes to a close, put your cropped jeans away in favor of something a little more western-inspired. Hedi is shaking things up at Celine––making the covetable brand even more wearable for every day. Ensembles were seen on the runway resembling clothes often spotted in the most stylish cities. Enter: the bootcut jean and classic blazers and jackets. Get your fix below.
Remember when wearing camouflage brought on various "Oh, I didn't see you there" invisibility jokes and comments? Gone are those days now that major retailers, runway shows, and high street brands are modernizing the trend. Kaia Gerber is a lover of all things camo, proving this while sporting a cool camo jacket, leather leggings, and combat boots. She added oversized gold hoops and the ever-trendy beret for the ultimate cool-girl look.
When she isn't slaying on the runway, we can always count on Kendall Jenner for casual cool style inspiration. Here she is rocking a cozy shearling bomber jacket, white tee, cropped jeans and showstopping Stella McCartney platforms.
Polka dot is one of those prints that can make a simple dress or top look instantly "styled". It requires very little extra, in regards to accessories to make the print look put together and therefore, is ideal for the spring and summer months. Simply throw on one of these styles and head out the door!
Although we look forward to seasonal trends, and mixing in runway inspiration, there's nothing quite like a classic combination to get you through the cold. Who What Wear Assistant Editor Anna knows exactly what we're talking about. On Instagram, she posted a photo in a go-to look we can all appreciate. Black oversized sunglasses, a soft live-in t-shirt, an all-encompassing black blazer, and vintage jeans is all it will take, and you probably already own each piece.
Although jumpsuits are available at a variety of online retailers, malls, and boutiques alike, they are often a hit or miss. Some contain cheap fabrics, while others just don't have the exact modern shape you may be searching for. Mango is an expert at providing their fans with pieces that don't break the bank, but easily look like they could. This jumpsuit, which comes in khaki and brown, is a true must-have at just under $100. It's runway-esque shape, straight cut and convertible pocket makes it truly essential for the new season.
